Hi, it's Loic. We spent 5 weeks in Vietnam and we had a great time. We saw my grandmother and some friends from Seattle. I hope you like my new video: "11 Things to Know About Vietnam".
Hi, Loic. What a wonderful presentation about Vietnam. One thing you did especially well is show how much variety there is in Vietnam. Good work. I can't wait to learn about Columbia. Love, Grandpa
Super Loic.
This is Adam. Yes, the one who has yet to contribute to the blog. Rest assured that I have played an important managerial role behind the scenes, always full of suggestions about what others should write posts about. But this time, It's all me! It has been great taking the kids to many of our favorite places in Madagascar. At the same time, we also wanted to discover some places we didn't manage to get to during our time here. And more than anything, we wanted the kids to experience true village life. So, we decided to take a hiking trip to visit a group of remote Zafimaniry villages, located to the east of Ambositra. If you have ever been to our home, one of the first things you see when you come through the front door is a carved wooden chest. This was made by Zafimaniry artisans who have been carving their symmetrical, geometric shapes since the time of the Kings in Madagascar. They live in very simple, one room wooden homes....
Hi, it's Loic. I think homeschool is great, but I still like North Seattle French School more!😕 Doing math Tracing our route on the map of Tanzania We start in the morning and finish before lunch. Basically, we have early dismissal every day! We work on math (I think I probably have more math books than you do!), reading, writing (like what I'm doing right now), and a lot of research projects, like THIS ONE: LOIC'S SEAWEED CENTER PRESENTATION (note to teachers: please put the video on the projector!) Right now we are in Matema. To get here we needed to take 2 buses. There was a lot of grabbing. It was hot, we were squeezed! My mom bought some bananas out the window of the bus! It's not organized like it is in Seattle - everyone is all squeezed together and you might end up with someone's loaf of bread on your lap. There was a man who was asking my mom about busses in Seattle. I was bored but it was okay. I was glad when we finally arrive...
